Liability Options
With the Corporate Card program, your company is always protected from fraudulent or unauthorized charges. You select the level of liability for your Cardmembers and establish accountability for payment of charges.
Spending Controls
As a general rule, the American Express Corporate Card program features no pre-set spending limit. Some companies choose to set limits to help control high-risk spending on Corporate Cards and enforce spending policies. Various spend controls are available, including:
- Overall spending limits
- Retail spending limits
- Immediate suspension of charge privileges upon delinquency
- Reduced cash access limits for Cardmembers enrolled in Corporate Express Cash
