Program Terms & Conditions

1. Online Services. All Corporate Card accounts are eligible to enroll in Manage Your Card Account. Use of Pay by PC and Expense Report Services is subject to your company practices and policies.

2. Global Assist Hotline. You must arrange all medical and visitor transportation. As the Global Assist® Hotline is an assistance service, we cannot reimburse you for expenses you incur on your own. Please refer to the Global Assist Summary of Coverage for additional details and restrictions.

3. Business Travel Accident Insurance. Underwritten by Federal Insurance Company (a member of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies),15 Mountain View Road, Warren, NJ 07059, and subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of Policy 6477-82-04.

4. Baggage Insurance Plan. American Express Card Baggage Insurance Plan is underwritten by AMEX Assurance Company, Administrative Office, Phoenix, AZ. Coverage is determined by the terms, conditions, and exclusions of Policy AX0400 or Policy BIP-IND and is subject to change with notice. This document does not supplement or replace the Policy.

5. Check-Cashing Privileges. When cashing personal checks at American Express Travel Services locations, you will receive up to $200 in cash, the balance in American Express® Travelers Cheques, subject to cash availability and local regulations.

6. Flexible Spending. Please note that some Corporate Cards may carry specific usage guidelines at the request of your company, or at the discretion of American Express.

7. Assured Reservations. If your plans change, call the hotel before 6pm (4pm at resorts) on the day of arrival or you will be billed for one night. Be sure to get a cancellation number for your records.

8. Preferred Extras Air Savings Program: Travelers will have access to discounts of 5-40% on a wide range of domestic and international airlines. Discounts are based on specific fare classes and availability at the time of booking. Enrollment in the Preferred Extras Travel Program required. Additional Terms and Conditions apply.

9. Fine Hotels & Resorts: In order to receive the Fine Hotels & Resorts program amenities and rates, call the Corporate Platinum Card Travel Desk or refer your travel professional to the Corporate Platinum Card Travel Desk. Payment must be made with an American Express Card in the Corporate Platinum Card member's name. Advance reservations must be made through the Corporate Platinum Card Travel Desk prior to arrival. Combinable with Fine Hotels & Resorts program amenities, rates, and room categories only. Must reserve Fine Hotels & Resorts rates and room categories in order to receive promotion benefits. Fine Hotels & Resorts program amenities and rates are not combinable with the Platinum Destinations® program. One special program amenity per room, per stay. Card members may reserve up to two (2) additional rooms other than for his/her own use inclusive of the standard amenities and negotiated rate. The Card member must accompany the party as a guest for which Fine Hotels & Resorts program reservations are made. If the Card member cancels his/her reservation, the Fine Hotels & Resorts program rates and amenities will no longer apply to any remaining reservation(s). Back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at a single FH&R Hotel are considered one stay. 10. Platinum Dining Reservations: All cancellations must be made by calling Platinum Dining® Reservations at least 24 hours in advance of the reservations. Otherwise, a $15-per-person cancellation fee ($60 minimum, $120 maximum) will apply. Reservations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so please call.

11. Car Rental Privileges: Benefits given to Corporate Platinum Card members are subject to each car rental company's terms and conditions, including age restrictions, and require enrollment to receive benefits. Card members must be affiliated with the Platinum Card Program codes received at the time of enrollment. Hertz #1 Club Gold® is a registered trademark of Hertz System, Inc. Minimum rental age is 25. For Hertz #1 Club Gold, upgrades are subject to fleet availability at time of rental. Standard rental terms and conditions apply. Payment must be made using the Corporate Platinum Card from American Express. Cardmembers are required to enroll in Hertz #1 Club Gold to become a member. National collects Frequent Flyer Tax Recoupment Surcharge to cover the federal tax on the cost of the miles awarded at the time of rental. Discount applies to base rate only. Taxes (including GST), other governmentally authorized or imposed surcharges, license recoupment/air tax recovery and concession recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, additional driver fee, one-way rental charge, and optional items are extra. Renter must meet standard age, driver, and credit requirements. Advance reservation required. May not be combined with other discounts. Availability is limited. Subject to change without notice. Blackout dates may apply. National's Emerald Club and its services require a signed Master Rental Agreement on file.

12. The Limousine Program: Valid on new bookings through December 31, 2009. To receive triple Membership Rewards points you must reserve by calling the Corporate Platinum Travel Desk or 1-800-AXP-LIMO (297-5466), be enrolled in the Membership Rewards First program at the time the chauffeured transportation service is used, and the chauffeured transportation service fees must be charged to an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card in the Corporate Platinum Card member’s name. Bonus points will be credited to your Membership Rewards First account within 10-12 weeks after chauffeured transportation service is used. 13. International Airline Program (IAP): Companion ticket requires purchase of qualifying, non-restricted First- or Business-Class ticket through American Express Travel Services with an American Express® Card issued in the U.S. Corporate Platinum Card® member's name on a participating airline. Participating airlines include : Aer Lingus, AeroMexico, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Japan Airlines, Jet Airways, LAN, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Scandinavian Airlines, South African Airways, Swiss International Air lines, Virgin Atlantic. Travel must originate in and return to a U.S. gateway (excluding Puerto Rico and overseas territories) or Canadian gateway. One-way travel permitted on some participating airlines where routing originates in U.S. Travel must be purchased by 12/31/09 and completed by 12/31/10. Available service class (First or Business) determined by participating airline. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Card member and companion must travel on the same itinerary. Non-refundable $78 American Express service fee applies to purchase and all ticket changes/refunds with Corporate Platinum Card. Companion ticket subject to government taxes/fees from $50 to $400 roundtrip, including a September 11th Security fee of up to $10. Total charge for the companion ticket may also reflect airline imposed fuel surcharges of up to $400 roundtrip. Companion ticket must be returned/cancelled before full-fare ticket is refunded. Not combinable with any other promotion, discount, negotiated group, or corporate-contracted rate, and may not be available on participating airline’s code-share partners, i.e. flights marketed by the ticketing airline but operated by its partner airline. Participating airlines reserve right to modify fare rules/program participation prior to booking. Limit one companion ticket per Card member traveling. Tickets are not transferable or endorsable.

14. Airport Club Access: The Corporate Platinum Card® member must be traveling. Name on ticket must match name on Corporate Platinum Card. Corporate Platinum Card member must be 18 years of age for American Airlines Admirals Club® Lounges and 21 years of age to enter into all other Airport Club Lounges without a parent or guardian. Platinum Card member's spouse and children under the age of 21 or up to two companions may enter the club as complimentary guests. Code-share and affiliated lounge agreements do not apply. Special industry reduced revenue tickets are not eligible with Delta and American Airlines. The Corporate Platinum Card member must present his or her valid Card, government-issued I.D., and airline ticket to club agents. Complimentary access is specifically for the airport club that corresponds to the airline operating the flight (access pertains to the aircraft, not the flight number) except with respect to American Airlines marketed code share flights with an American Airlines flight number which are also eligible for complimentary access to the lounge. Note that amenities may vary among airport club locations. Meeting rooms may be reserved for a nominal fee. Cardmembers must adhere to all house rules of participating clubs. 15. Priority Pass: Effective on 4/15/09 for new Platinum Card members and upon renewal after 4/15/09 for existing Platinum Card members. Corporate Platinum Card members may access participating Priority Pass lounges worldwide on a complimentary basis, provided that they complete the Priority Pass application form. The Corporate Platinum Card member must present his or her Priority Pass card to gain access to participating lounges. Corporate Platinum Card member must be 21 years of age to enter into the airport club lounge without a parent or guardian. Members must adhere to all house rules of participating clubs. Amenities may vary among airport club locations. Conference rooms may be reserved for a nominal fee. For a list of participating airport club locations visit www.prioritypass.com. Partners and locations subject to change. Corporate Platinum Card members’ accompanying guests may access participating lounges for a $27 fee, which will automatically be charged to the Corporate Platinum Card.

16. Membership Rewards program: Enrollment required. Annual program fee to enroll a Corporate Card is $75. Some Corporate Cards are not eligible for enrollment. Participating Membership Rewards partners, available rewards, and point levels are subject to change without notice. 17. Savings at Work program: Pursuant to the Savings at Work ("SAW") Program, eligible, active, mid-size corporate clients of American Express can receive an end-of-year rebate on qualifying purchases made with the American Express Card at participating SAW partners. 18. American Airlines
The number and locations of countries and destinations served by American Airlines are subject to change without notice. Program is subject to change. To receive rebates, Business ExtrAA® points and Savings at WorkSM benefits, charges must be made to a qualifying American Express® / Business ExtrAA® Corporate card account in good standing for the rebate qualification, accrual, and payment periods. American Airlines may amend, alter, or terminate the Business ExtrAA® program in its sole discretion without notice. 19. American Express / Business ExtrAA Corporate Card program rebate: Rebate is earned on base published flown airfare only (does not include taxes, discounts, surcharges and fees) and is sent quarterly to clients via electronic funds transfer or checks. Passengers must fly in order to earn rebate. To qualify, flights taken must be both marketed and operated by American Airlines, American Eagle® or American Connection® carriers (other code share flights do not apply) and for which American Airlines appears as the merchant of record on the Cardmember billing statement. Clients are eligible to earn rebates only on the first $1,000,000 of flown revenue in a calendar year that is purchased using the Card. Rebate will be 4% if company does not have an American Airlines negotiated discount program and does not book travel using a travel agency discount program. Rebate will be 1% if company has an American Airlines negotiated discount program or books travel using a travel agency discount program.

All American Express® / Business ExtrAA® Corporate Card accounts are enrolled automatically in the American Airlines Business ExtrAA® program and are subject to all of its terms and conditions, which appear at: www.businessextraa.com/content/about/ProgramTermsConditions.jhtml. Clients will receive points on all spend with the exception of cash advances, fees, American Express® Corporate Travelers Cheque encashments, and delinquency assessments.
