The American Express® Green Corporate Card

The American Express® Green Corporate Card provides employees with a flexible and safe method of payment for virtually all your business expenses, including air travel, hotel stays, restaurants, as well as couriers, office supplies, phone bills and more. The Card also meets the demanding requirements of the frequent business traveler, including:
  • 24-hour, door-to-door business travel accident benefit1 of up to £225,000 every time Cardmembers purchase common carrier tickets such as airline and train tickets with an eligible American Express Corporate Card.
  • enrollment in our Global Assist® Hotline2 extends 24-hour a day phone service to put you in contact with English speaking emergency medical and legal assistance whenever you travel more than 200km from your home, for up to 90 days.
  • assistance through our worldwide network of more than 2,200 Travel Service locations in 140 countries3, online servicing through Manage Your Card Account (MYCA) site and 24-hour cardmember phone service.

Liability Options
With the Corporate Card programme, you can select the level of liability for your Green, Gold and Platinum Cardmembers and establish accountability for payment of charges.
  • Individual – individual is liable for all Charges incurred on the Card issued to them
  • Joint and Several – individual and your Company are liable individually as well as jointly for all Charges incurred on the Card issued
  • Company – your Company is liable for all Charges incurred on the Card issued to the individual

Spending Controls
Various spend controls are available, including:

  • Immediate suspension of charge privileges upon delinquency
  • Reduced cash access limits for Cardmembers enrolled in Express Cash
Important information:
  1. American Express Services Europe Limited ("AESEL") makes various benefits available to Cardmembers. These benefits derive from contracts which AESEL has made with third parties which AESEL is free to amend, extend or terminate at its sole discretion. These benefits do not form part of AESEL's contract with you but AESEL will aim to inform you 30 days in advance of any changes to the available benefits which may be to your detriment. One of the benefits currently available is the benefit of contracts of insurance made between AESEL and certain insurers, for example travel insurance benefits. You will lose these benefits if you cease to be a Cardmember. Exclusions apply. Full details of the insurance benefits currently available can be found in the Summary of Benefits document which will be provided with your Card.
