Reporting Overview

American Express can provide your company with a Management Information (MI) solution that simplifies your business expense management program. The reporting provides the most comprehensive, consistent and secure information available, allowing your company to:
  • Track and manage policy compliance;
  • Identify new supplier negotiation opportunities to help save your company money;
  • Monitor your company's business expenses, budget and forecast; and
  • Provide proof of captured savings.
MI reporting is available through @Work Standard Reporting and @Work Customised Reporting.

@Work Standard Reporting

@Work Standard Reporting is available free of charge. The reports are grouped into four categories to help you easily identify and access the information you require at any time. These include:

  • Monitor Compliance;
  • Manage Cards;
  • Analyse Spend Trends; and
  • Track your Qantas Rebate.

@Work Customised Reporting

@Work also offers Customised Reporting providing a complete set of tools to query, filter and sort information to your needs. Customised Reporting is a fee-based product ideal for those clients who have more sophisticated needs and want to do more with their data. The functionality of Customer Reporting includes:

  • Analyse daily unbilled or monthly billed transactions
  • Create customised reports using the available data fields to better meet your needs
  • Specify any selection of billing periods
  • Select the level of reporting preferred, including client organisation, business unit or cost centres
  • Account status; select active accounts, cancelled or both
  • Change your view mode from grid-to-graph and outline-to-detailed views
  • All your reports can be saved to a wide variety of PC file formats

How To Access Reports

Reports can be accessed via the web through @Work. Visit the @Work section for instructions for setting up access to @Work. If you have already registered and enrolled, you can access your reports through @Work.

After logging into @Work, reports can be accessed by following these steps:

  1. Click on Card Reports in the Reports section of the @Work home page.
  2. Click on the arrow next to the report category to access the listing of individual reports.
  3. Click on the report title you wish to access.
  4. Click the link next to the version of the report you wish to view and the report will display

Important Information For Using @Work Reporting

@Work Reporting can only be accessed by the person setup as the Report Recipient. For a description of the Report Recipient and instructions for changing your company’s Report Recipient, visit the Roles & Responsibilities section.

@Work Reporting Standard has an interactive Tool Kit which allows you to perform basic text searches for information and print or save reports. To access the Tool Kit, click on the Tools tab on the left side of the report.

@Work reports become available approximately 48 hours after your cycle cut. You can elect to receive an email informing you when the new reports are available. If you are not receiving an email then you can change your preference by contacting the Corporate Support team on 1300 555 257.

Reports will be stored in @Work for 4 months. If you wish to maintain a history of reports you will need to save these reports to your own drive.

To keep your login active, you must login to @Work every 90 days. After 90 days your login will be disabled and you will need to contact the Corporate Support team on 1300 555 257 to have it reset. If your login is disabled you will lose any stored reporting history.
