For the sixth consecutive year, OTBG found that American Express provides the lowest total cost per trip versus the OTA's. A side-by-side comparison study by a leading airline and travel consultancy demonstrated that, in addition to offering greater savings on flights booked online, American Express is up to 5 – 12% lower than online travel agencies when comparing total trip costs, including air, hotel and car rental.
